Problem on time taken to DeCompile an Access 2000 application

Im maintaining an MS Access 2000 application which is linked to a SQL Server
database.

On a regular basis, I have to compile, then de-compile and then compact and
repair the application
before depoying it to users.

What I have noticed is that its now taking 45 mins - 1hr for the
De-Compilation process to take
place, where as on my colleagues machine its taken 15 mins.

The only thing I can think why its taken so long is that I recently had
Microsoft Visual Source Safe 2005 installed on my machine from which we
check in and check out this Access application.

Could this be the reason why my Application is taking so long to de-compile?

Many thanks

Chris

No idea about the delay but you might consider reversing the process....

If you are really compiling and then decompiling, please make sure you
compile and then compact (and preferably, if appropriate make into an MDE)
before deploying.

Main point: ALWAYS compile after decompiling.
