Problem opening access 2007

I have tried searching for a solution for months and haven't found anything
yet. Any and all help is appreciated. Everytime Access is opened the setup
runs and a screen opens that says configuring program. When it runs, it
takes a long time to complete. Again this is evertime Access is opened.

Do you have more than one version of Access on your computer. I have only
had this happen when I switch back and forth between versions.

Originally there was Office 2003 but it was uninstalled prior to installing
2007. It is something in the users profile because when I log in everything
behaves correctly.

Then my only other thought is the Users Profiles in the registry did you
compare them? Also might help to know what version of Windows and if you're
talking about more then one machine.
