I have several users that intermittently get this error in opening
attachments, mostly excel.
"Can't open file: C:\Documents and Settings\user\Local Settings
\Temporary Internet Files\OLK55\600....The file may not exist, you may
not have permission to open it, or it may be open in another program.
Right-click on the folder that contains the file, and then click
properties to check permissions for the folder.
When I check this location in windows explorer the \OLK55\600 folders
didn't exist. I'd read another post saying that outlook opens
attachments in a temp location via the registry - which matches the
patch above. The post said to edit the path to... C:\Documents and
Settings\user\Local Settings\Temp, which I did and did not help.
This user has admin rights on the PC so I am stumped???
Has anyone fixed this recently or can anyone shed some light on it??
Thanks for any help.
