problem opening doc

H

Hopeless

I work on a document in my office using excel 2002. The document is linked
to a financial service that with formula's inputted provides market data for
stocks. At work I sent the doc to my home which has excel 2003 in a email
via outlook. Once home I can open the doc and see the doc as I had saved it
but a box appears for update or not update. I know I should not update since
I don't have the program at home that populates the info. But either way (if
I click update or not update) once the dialog box is gone all the info reads
REF# in all the fields populated with a formula. According to our company
help desk I cannot open it since I do not have Thompson's (which is the where
the data is populated from) but I send this same doc to a client everyday
(who does not have access to Thompsons) and they see the document just as I
can see it at my office. I believe they have excel 2003. Could anyone help
me?????
