Problem Opening documents

When I click on a document, Word opens, but the document DOES NOT, then when
I opened FROM INSIDE Word, there is NO PROBLEM. After the "virus scan"
nothing happens, but there is no problem or error message EVER.???

PS: That happens on ANY word document, either created by me or anybody.

please HELP.

I did tried that, no change, tried also the "Detect & Repair" option to no
avail either????
