Problem opening embedded OLE object (WORD file)

Hi. I'm using PowerPoint 2003 and simply trying to open an inserted OLE
object (which is a WORD document) in my presentation. I've followed the Help
steps to the letter by setting the Action setting to Open the object when
clicked.

Yet when I run the PowerPoint show, clicking on the icon of the embeded
object does not open the file. When I change the action setting so that it
opens with the Mouse over action, it works fine.

Any suggestions? Thanks.

Odd. I wonder if there's something wrong with the Word doc itself. You
might try saving the Word document as a separate file (from your mouse-over
edit mode) and then delete the embedded document and reinsert from the one
you saved.
