Problem Opening Files

Hello my problem is that i can not open files saved in
Microsoft Project 98, in my computer i have a Microsoft
Project 2000, and appears that i can not open what can i
do because there are many files in Project 98, but i must
change to Project 2000, because i recive files now in
Project 2000, but i cant have 2 diferent versions of
Project in my Computer

You should be able to open Project98 files in Project2000. What error do you
get? Is it possible that they are from an earlier version than Project 98?

Yes they are version 95, what can i do, how can i open a
fles of Project 95 in Project 2000, Help

In a nutshell, before you upgrade to 2000, open your files in 98 and save
them as Proj 98 files. Then upgrade the software to 2000 and you'll be
fine. As long as you're upgrading, why stop at 2000? The current release
is 2002 and even that will be replaced with 2003 in about 3 weeks. If
you're going to the trouble and expense anyway and the cost of your time to
do the conversion and install is the signifigant cost, NOT the retail price
of the software, get the current release so you don't have to worry about it
for a a while. If you can't wait a few weeks, get 2002 now and you can get
a free upgrade to 2003 when it comes out. With the rate which new products
emerge today, it makes no sense at all to upgrade to software that is
already obsolete.
