Problem Opening live web instead of opening local web

Steven

Have just installed FP on new computer with XP Professional and cannot open
web. In past I tried to open web and a protocol came up asking for username
and password only now this doesn't come up but an error message of: "the
folder http://www.--- does isn't accessible. The folder may be located in
an unavailable location, protected with a password or filename contains a /
or \"

I have opened webs many many times before on my windows millennium system
only now I cannot get the username/password box to open my web live. Anyone
that can help me I thank you in advance.

Steven,
FrontPage Server Extensions (FPSE) may have been messed up. If your hosting
company has a control panel, try un-installing and reintalling the FPSE.

The folder <sitename/folder> isn't accessible. The folder may be located in
an unavailable

location, protected with a password or the file name contains a"/" or a "\".

As an alternative, you may wish to download the FREE Jimco Open Web which
bypasses the web folders, which may be corrupted: www.jimcosoftware.com
