Can anyone help me...
One of our users has 4 Data bases he uses, he has made a
backup copy of them, since making the backup copy he has
only been able to open up 1 database at a time, pre
backing up the databases he could open at least 3 Data
Bases at once, without any problems.
He doesn't get any error messages, he opens the Data
Bases from Windows explorer, it will open the first one
fine, when you try to open a second one, it brings up the
first database he opened and then sits there and doesn't
do anything. Can't get it to launch the databases in
seperate windows.
It looks like a problem with these 4 DB's he has set up,
other databases will open together fine. I have tried
reinstalling Office 2000, repairing and compacting the
databases, still have the same problem.
Could someone please help, thanks?
Oh I can open all 4 databases fine, but I am running on a
PC with Win Xp and Office XP, the user is on Win NT and
Office 2000 (he has 128mb of RAm and over 6GB of free
disk space, so I dont think its a memory issue) , the
lkargest of the databases is 1.5mb in size.
