Problem opening powerpoint file

Hi all!

Situation : Powerpoint 2000 installed on a Windows 2000 Workstation PC.

Problem : When I doubleclick on a .ppt file, it opens a blank
powerpoint project.
This happens with any .ppt file on my PC.

I tried to reinstall Microsoft Office with no success.

I also tried a "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\Powerpnt.exe"
/regserver with no luck either...

Any idea?

It's working !

The problem was a file association misconfiguration.
(in 'advanced opening settings' -> "new" instead of "open").
