Problem opening Windows PowerPoint file.

T

Toby Boardman

When opening a PowerPoint presentation from a windows user I receive the
following message:

"The server application, source file, or item cannot be found. Check that
the path and file name are correct, or try reinstalling the server
application."

The problem affects both PowerPoint X and 2004

I believe the presentation may contain a number of excel graphs and charts,
has anyone else seen this message before?

This is a typical error message when you have an embedded element from an
application that either is not on the Mac or can not use OLE. This is mostly
the case when you double click on an image made in Visio, or a planning from
Project
