Currently using Word 2007 and 2003 (on different machines) on XP machines,
SBS2003 server.
We use a program built by another company that is supposed to open a Word
template and fill in information from a data source.
What happens is that this program tries to open Word but it just returns an
error:
OLE IDispatch exception code 0 from Microsoft Word: Requested object is not
available...
or
Error: OLE error code 0x80070005: Access is denied.
I tried playing around with the DCOM Config properties for Word and
practically gave everybody in the organization access but still nothing. I
also tried to use the "Identity" tab by trying to run Word with an
administrator account.
Is there a way to log who is trying to access a certain DCOM Config object
so I know who I have to give access to?
Or maybe there's a GP setting that's preventing this from hapenning?
Would appreciate any suggestions on this.
