Problem... page 1 of 1, 2 of 2, 3 of 3

my problem is that when the document prints, it prints
the numbering as "Page 1 of 1", Page 2 of 2", and so
on... this is what im using:

Page {page} of {sectionpages}

the document has 2 sections the first is the cover page,
the second is the rest of the document. everything looks
fine on screen, it just prints with the incorrect
pagination.

currently i am making PDF's of the files to print as the
correct numbering is transfered to the pdf.

Does anyone know whats causing this? documents are 15-25
pages long.

I have experienced a similar problem. A coworker drafted
a document with page numbers 1 of 8, 2 of 8, etc., and it
prints correctly for her. She sends it to me via e:mail
and it appears correctly on the monitor but prints out 1
of 1, 2 of 2, 3 of 3, etc.

appreciate any help.

Tony,
Did you get a reply to this already? Are you using an
older version of Word? I recall a known bug matching this
description, about 4 years ago, but I don't recall the
workaround or solution. There was an article about it in
the knowledge base at that time.
