Hi
I have looked through the forum regarding Password Protectin
Presentations, my problem is that if I password protect a file, the
the file will not close afterwards. PowerPoint asks if I want to sav
the changes, I can say yes but it does not close.
So I have to say close the presentation, which means the file is n
longer protected. Have searched on Google and this forum but canno
find out why the file will not save with the password protection. I a
only trying to protect the file from being modified.
Have used Tools, Options, Security and typed a password in the modif
box. Have also tried the password to open and I get the same problem.
Have also looked in the properites in Windows Explorer and there is n
option to password protect the file there.
I want people to be able to view the file but not make changes.
Thanks
Shirle
