I've received a Word doc form via email that is to be printed then filled
out and returned to the sender. The form has two tables each containing two
columns. Both the tables and columns have four-sided borders creating a
double line around each cell. Everything lines up perfectly on page layout
view and print preview screens, but the column widths are narrower on a hard
copy print out as well as pdf preview. This causes some of the print, which
is to be contained within a cell, to extend beyond the borders. It's
interesting that the borders surrounding the table are not affected, just
the cell borders themselves.
The only way I've been able to get a half-decent print-out is to shorten the
left margin to .25", but then everything on the doc is off-center, as the
table are 7" wide.
Anyone have an idea what is going on? I'm using Word Office for Mac Service
Release 1 and an Epson 960 printer.
