Problem printing large documents using Word macro

I have written a Word macro that prints(to file) all
documents in a folder. It works fine with small files.
However, for large files(say > 2MB) the file is not
printed completely.There is no error as well.

Does anybody have a clue as to why this happens ?

since you don't show us the macro code, it's hard to say.
My best guess is that perhaps you haven't set background
printing to false (it's an Application.Option)? If you
haven't, then the macro code will (try to) continue before
the print job has completely spooled, which often causes
problems.
