problem printing with USB laser printer

I am using Windows 2K Server with Office XP.
I have a USB laser printer (Samsung) Direct attached to server box.
When I try to print from Excel printer warms up (after power save) and
nothing comes out not even plain paper no error. :(
I can print from all other application like word, IE etc. on same printer. i
am using right printer for sure :)

Please Help.
