Problem Project Protfolio Server 2007 installation

Hi everybody
I’m testing the installation of booth Project Server 2007 and Project
Portfolio Server 2007 in a farm on a single machine. For that I followed step
by step the deployment guide for the two products.
The installation for Project Server was Ok
During the installation of Project Portfolio after answering the wizard the
following message appears.

' Error -2147217913: failed to execute SQL String, error detail:
' the instruction was stopped.
' SQL Key: DB_PPASAccountData_Upgrade_12_Integrated
' SQL string: begin transaction
' Set nocount on
' Declare @accountid int
' Declare @internalClassid in…

If any one can help me it will be nice. Thanks in advance.

Mehdih,

I've got exactly the same, but in a two-server scenario - DB is on a
separate server. Project and SharePoint are both running OK, as is the SQL
server. I found this http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/929584 but
it seems to be a slightly different SQL error, and anyway, our SQL server is
case-insensitive. Let me know if you've found a solution yet, cheers.
