Problem re-installing Office Professional Edition 2003

I updated to Office Professional Edition 2003 in 2005 and have used it
without any problems since then. However, recently my computer went haywire
and I had to do a system recovery, bringing me back to only the basic startup
software that came with my computer, including the trial version of office
which I updated from before.

The installation seemed to go fine but when I go to open any program it asks
me for my name, initials, organazation, and the product key. I enter all the
information, just like I had before and I get a message saying the product
key is invalid.

I'm certain this has something to do with the fact that I have installed
this software once before on the same computer, and I believe I registered
it. Any help or information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

No, you need to uninstall the trial version before installing the full
version. Uninstall both, reboot, and try installing the full version again.

You need to uninstall the trial version first.
A Trial version of Office is not a qualifying version for an upgrade, if an
upgrade version of Office is what you actually have, you must have had a
qualifying product installed to use an upgrade cd
