Problem reading help files

Here is a portion of what I see when I click on the Help button in all my
Office Applications:

Hi Mike,

What version of Windows and what browser are you using? If this started recently did you install any new products or upgrades to a
product?

The help viewer for Office 2007 is CLView.exe and it's possible that the link between it and the .HX* series file types has been
broken or that your browser cache is full.


If closing all of the Office apps then emptying the browser temporary files folder doesn't help then see if running the Office 2007
diagnostics from
Office Button=>Word Options=>Resources
helps (may require a PC restart).

Bob,

Thanks, but that didn't help. Maybe I should try the install disk. I need
the help files - use them frequently and miss em on this new version.

I am seeing the same thing as Mike. Brand new install of MS Offic
Enterprise 2007. I cannot access the help files.

I have now tried every solution I can think of - Uninstalled-reinstalled 3
times - removed all files and versions of prior MS Office related programs.
Still getting gibberish. I guess I give up!
