Problem reinstalling Quicktime

Have tried to reinstall Quicktime on my PC but get message asking for CD,
saying that some components of older version can't be removed.
Have tried searching and manually deleting all instances of Quicktime
including registry keys, running installer again but still asks says some of
the components I'm trying to install are on CD.
How do I proceed?

Sorry, but this has absolutely nothing to do with MS Office for Macintosh,
which is the group you've posted to. In fact, it has nothing to do with MS
product at all. QuickTime is an Apple product so that's who you should ask.
