Problem Replacing Picture

I have WordXP. I have a form which has a picture in a text frame and I want
to replace it on a regular basis, but when I highlight the picture and copy
the new picture over the old it deletes the text frame and puts the picture
in the wrong position and pushes a second picture off to another page. I
have to delete the picture and set up a new text frame every time I need to
change pictures. Is there an easier way to do this? I have to do this
quite often and this is aggravating!

Don't use paste, use insert picture instead. Alternatively, don't use a text
box, try a one cell table

Or insert the picture "naked" without text box, frame, or table cell.
