problem retrieving printer information

I have tried using the microsoft website's suggestions
and none of them have worked.
Here is the error I am getting:
There was a problem retrieving printer information for
the <PrinterName> on <PortName>. The object may have been
sent to a printer that is unavailable.
Any suggestions?
