Problem: rotation of graphics on the printout

I have a Word document with inserted graphics created from
Canvas 8 program. The Word is the most up to date (with the
latest updater) and is running on OS X 10.2.8.

The graphics looks fine on the screen. But whenever I print
the document, they print rotated in a way such that it is
as if I am looking at them from behind.
I've tried printing on different printers (all PS
printers), and the same behavior occurs.

Now, if I print the document into a pdf file and print the
pdf file, the graphics appear properly.

If this issue has been already discussed, please forgive
me. If not, has anyone ran into a similar problem?
(I am thinking this may be a bug in the Word...)

I am afraid the issue has been discussed to death. It *is* a bug, but each
company blames the other for it. The bottom line is "It will be fixed in
the next version."
