Problem running macro on Master Document

B

Brian

I have written my first macro to update documents with the styles, text and
header and footer information. The last part of the macro update all fields.
This works well on the single source documents. The larger manuals are master
documents with many chapters included.

All documents are generated from Robohelp printed output. Running the macro
on the large documents, when completed the TOC seems to have been deleted,
and results in problems with the headers and footers. Is this to do with the
subdocuments updating the master on the last command or am I having a senior
moment?

Any advice would be appreciated

You won't like this, but the best advice I can give in the circumstances is
don't use Master Documents. Here's why
