Has anyone come across this?
I had Office 2000 on W2K SP3. I installed SP4. All OK.
I then went to upgrade Office 2000 to Office XP. On the Install dialog I
chose "Upgrade". All seemed to install OK. On trying to open Outlook, I got
an error message that a DLL could not be found and a service could not be
started. Outlook could only open the default folders.
I uninstalled Office completely, rebooted and re-installed as a fresh
install. Got the same error messages. Uninstalled Office XP, re-installed
Office 2000 - no problems!
is there a conflict between Office XP and W2K 2000 SP4?
