problem saving and printing

Whenever I save using Word ME I get the text saved, but I
also get other document informations such as default font,
heading info, etc. This also prints ruining my printouts.
I assume I have some feature on but I can't figure out
what to switch off. Help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Deb

Check what format you are saving in - and also that you are not opening
files using 'Recover text from any file.

In the File Open dialog, change the "Files of type" setting from "Recover
Text from Any File" to "All Word Documents."
