We are currently running into a problem when we try to save one of our larger
projects. It comes back asking for authentication to the server and does not
seem to accept the user.
Here is our layout.
Deployed on a Citrix Server with Project and Project Server both on the
server. The database resides in SQL Server store on another server.
From behind the scenes I can see that the transaction is going to SQLServer
and seems to be succeeding. Eventually, there is a login box that pops up on
the server. I keep authenticating with the user id and password.
Eventually, I will cancel this login and the transaction is rolled back. I
notice that when I go through this act of saving the server seems to spawn
another copy of project. Also the box is asking me to authenticate directly
to the box and not to the domain.
This has not been a problem for our smaller projects but for our one large
project it is a consistent headache.
