I have a diagram on portrait 8.5 x 11 page. The scale is
set to 1 in. = 134 ft. 8.8421 in.. I want to change the
drawing to an 11 x 17 page and to a 34 x 44 page. My
problem lies in the scale. I can adjust the scale so
that the drawing fit the page however the drawing will
not measure correctly afterwards (I have two points wich
distance is 160 feet on the 8.5 x 11 sheet, when I change
the scale to fit the page, the distance between those
points change). I believe that what I'm doing wrong has
to do with proportionate scaling but I havent been able
to figure it out. Also in AutoCAD they have their model
and in different pages you can include only a portion of
the model. I need to do the same thing. I have a site
layout but I need to work with only several small
fractions of the layout and the only thing I have been
able to think of is to alter the scale of the drawing and
kind of cut and paste the area I need. Thanks for your
help.
