Problem searching Personal Folders

For some reason I can't search my Personal Folders as a whole as when they're
selected the Find options are ghosted. The Find options aren't ghosted when I
select my Archive Folders so it does seem possible to search entire .pst
folders, why can't I do this for my Personal Folders?
