Problem sending emails from Access 97

I have Office 97. I use Outlook 97 as my email program and
Word 97 as my email editor. I set up a procedure to
generate an automatic email for a given person, using the
example given in Knowledge Base article # 161088. The code
is almost identical except I alway display the email
message. It would appear in the email editor, I'd hit the
send button and it would put the message in my Outbox.

This was working perfectly until it suddenly stopped
working. Now the message comes up in the editor as usual
but when I press "Send" I get an IPF error, and I have to
reboot my computer to bring up another message in the
email editor. I get an "Out of memory" error if I try
without rebooting. I can save the message without sending,
but only the Save command in the File menu seems to work,
the one on the toolbar doesn't seem to do anything.

I'm not certain of this, because there seems to be some
time delay between my saving the message and it appearing
in my Inbox. The delay varies (alot) and can be up to 5
minutes. I can send from Outlook itself fine.

I have Windows 98 version 2. Does anyone have any idea
what is going on?
