Problem sending links from IE 7 using Outlook 2007

I just purchased Office Enterprise 2007. I installed it over my 2003
installalation.
Everything seems to work fine except that when I use the send a link feature
in IE 7 Nothing happens. Outlook is the default mail client, but it doesn't
open. All this worked fine in Outlook 2003. Is there a new security setting
that I need to set?

Well somthing happened that made it work again. The only thing that I did was
run the Office Diagnostics. After it finished it said it repaired one problem
and then the mail function started working again.
