We are running a 2003 Professional network. We have
outlook 2000 on 4 machines (2 running on win 98 and 2 (1
of which is mine) running on win 2000 professional )in the
office and outlook 2002 on 1 machine (running on xp
professional).
From my machine I set up a pst file with an 'office
calendar' in it on the server and shared it with everyone
else in the office. Seems to be almost working great.
I'm having two problems -
1. (Minor) If anyone accesses the calendar before I do I
get a message "Unable to display folder. The file could
not be accessed. Close any application that is using the
folder and then try again." If I get everyone out of
outlook and access the folder then I can get in just fine
and then everyone else can get in with no problems. I
then seem able to go in and out of the software with no
access problems.
2. (Major) I can only have either my machine or the
outlook 2002 machine in the shared calendar - not both.
Whichever of us goes in first gets in just fine but then
the other of us gets the message above. No-one else in
the office seems to be affected by this.
Thanks for your help!
