Problem since April Update

From within Word, I can no longer open documents contained in subfolders, nor
if I open them directly from My Documents, save or save as. All was well
until the April update. My non-updated computer works fine - the 3 updated
computers share the same problem. Any solution?

I had the same problem, along with a lot of other people. I believe you can
fix it by doing a restore to an earlier date. I ended up uninstalling Office
and reinstalling it again, then doing a restore. The end result is I ended up
reformating the hard drive and reloading all the programs. So far Office is
working with no problem. I also beleive there is one of the updates that you
can uninstall that will fix it, but I'm reallu not sure. Check some of the
other posts first. Check my other post on 4/11- "XP Security Update -Office
2003 quit resonding". Ther are also a few more around that date on this site.
Hope this helps. It sure isn't fun formatting and reloading everything!
