Hi,

you should tray next:
1. when you start Ms Project pro you get blank project.
Save this blank project as template on your PC.
2. On Tools\Enterprise options choose Restore Enterprise
global
3. Select your server account and for global template
select saved template from step 1 and restore global
template
4. Restart project pro

I hope this information will help you.

If the language setting is not english on the client, you will have to do
some registry modifications, I think you can find it on the MS support site.

You can't install Portal Server on the same machine as Project Server. Are
you certain you installed SharePoint Portal Server rather than Windows
SharePoint Services?
