Problem syncing Enterprise Resource Pool with Active Directory

I am using Project Server 2003 WITH SP1 and am having problems syncing my
enterprise resource pool with the group I have created in my active
directory. I am able to sync all the groups (such as Team Members, Project
Managers, etc) without problem, but cannot synchronize the enterprise
resource pool. I am trying to schedule it to happen, but at that time, I get
this message in my eventlog:

Component: AD Connector
File: AutoADProcess
Line: -1
Description: <Description><![CDATA[AD Res Pool Sync - failed to open the
Ent. Res. Pool]]></Description>

Any help would be much appreciated.
