Diane
I have just had chance to try a single appointment set as recurring,
ending
on the day of the appointment. I am delighted to advise that this has
forced
the software to synchronise correctly. This has provided a much needed
temporary solution until the software bug is fixed.
Many, many thanks for your help and appologies again for not interpreting
your original instructions correctly.

There is a bug either in the phone or the sync software - my money is
that
its in the sync software.
Was the single appointment set as recurring, ending on the day of the
appointment?

Thanks Diane.
I did as you suggested and recurring events synced correctly whether
they
lasted two days or seven. Events recorded on each day they were
scheduled.
I then tried a single event again and it still failed to synchronise.
Does the above information point towards a futher solution?
Thanks again for your helpp
jsflyfisher.
:
Try this: open the event on the iPhone and change it to recurring
daily
then
end the recurrence on the date of the event before syncing.
