Problem to install Office 97

Hello,
I bought Office 97 many years ago, then I had a Toshiba
laptop. My old computer broke down,and now I have a new
computer (HP). However, although I have the CD and the CD
key, I cannot install Office97 in my computer. How can
this be solved? Thanks.

First of all tell us what exactly is the problem? Second, tell us
whether it is an upgrade version of Office 97. Are you trying to
install in Windows XP?

We should be able to advice if you give us these basic information.
