Problem to open Webdav file in Word 2000

I have the following problem :
I put a Word file on a WebDav folder (located in Linux
RedHat server with IFS of Oracle 9i), when I open it in
Internet Explorer from my computer (Windows 2000, Word
2000, Internet Explorer : 6 SP1), file is open in Word
(external application) and I can modify it.
When I open the same file from another computer (Windows
2000, Word 2000, IE : 6 SP1) in Internet Explorer, file is
open in Word (external application) but it is marked as
Read Only in title bar.

If anyone has an idea or any informations how to get
around the problem, let me know.
