Hello,

I tried to dispatch just an e-mail from Germany to USA. Unfortunately
the receiver could not open this message with his system on Mac-OS X
with Microsoft Entourage Version 12.23.0.091001. As a result I have sent
him this message once again in the attachment of a new e-mail.
Nevertheless this has also failed because he could not likewise open the
message. My system is Windows XP SP3, sorry :), and Outlook Express
(see the header lines for my version). The receiver has an account for
e-mail with AT&T. E-mail has the following size:

| 12/4/2009 16:53 14.664.668 Some photos.eml
|
| 1 file(s) 14.664.668 bytes

Does somebody know a solution for this problem? With Outlook Express
this is not known to me. The receiver has suggested splitting the e-mail
in two equally big parts. But before I bombard to him his post office
box once more, I would like to know the actual reason for this problem.

Thanks in advance,

Ruediger

Does your recipient actually *receive* the message or does it never
appear to him?

If he receives the large message then ask him to look for a link at the
top of the open message window that says something like "Get entire
message". He may only be partially downloading it.

Hope this helps!

Yes, he has received the message.

The problem was solved meanwhile, the recipient has used another mail
client. Possibly it was caused because the program was overloaded by
other image files, as he manages with it also some uploads.
Hope this helps!

Thank you for your help.

Bye,
Ruediger
