Problem uninstalling Office 2003

I have loaded Office 2007 on my PC. I'd like to remove Office 2003 (mainly
to free up the space and avoid conflicts), but when I attempt to remove it
from the control panel I get a message " The instalation source for this
product is not available...". I have the installation disc in but that
doesn't help. Is there another approach or am I missing something (I have
gotten the same message uninstalling other M programs. But I just
uninstalled Outlook 2007 (it had some errors and told me to uninstall and
then reinstall) and there were no issues (and I did not need the installation
disc.)

Help will be appreciated.

Try removing via the cd - inserting the cd should auto run and open up a
window giving you the option to uninstal.

PS installing Office2007 should have given you the option to upgrade, ie
remove components contained in your version of Office2007
