Problem Uninstalling Office 2007 Enterprise Trial

When trying to uninstall this trial I get the following error message:
"Error 1402. Setup cannot open the registry key
UNKNOWN .mdb \ Persistent Handler. Verify that you have sufficient
permissions to access the registry or contact your Information Technology
department for assistance"

Can somebody please advise how I can rectify this so that I can uninstall
the trial, have tried reinstalling but get similar error message about unable
to open reg key
