Problem Uninstalling Office Pro 2003

I can't uninstall Office Pro 2003 from my WinXp machine.

When I go to Add/Remove Programs via the Control Panel, I click the Remove
button on Microsoft Office Professional Edition 2003.
Then I get an error massage stating "This patch package could not be opened.
Verify that the pacthc package exists and thay you can access it, or contact
the applicatin vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer patch
package."

How can I remove Office Pro 2003 from my machine??

Insert your Microsoft Office 2003 CD in the CD Drive, then go
to Start > Run and type: D:SETUP.EXE , and hit enter.
(assuming D: is the location of your CD Drive).
When the Microsoft Office 2003 Setup window appears,
select "Uninstall Microsoft Office 2003 from this computer".

THANKS FOR THE HELP (& LINK)!!! MY PROBLEM WAS SOLVED USING WINDOWS INSTALL
CLEAN UP THAT YOU RECOMMENDED.
