Problem Using Meeting Invite in Outlook 2002 to Invite Someone Using Outlook 200

When I try to invite someone to a meeting using Outlook
2002, and they are using Outlook 2000, all they get is
gibberish. They can't accept or say no to the
invitation. I assume that is a limitation in Outlook
2000. Is there a way to get around that?

Have the OL2002 sender omit the reminder on the meeting.
