Problem viewing text in Word 2000

Hi all,

I hope you can help me.

Here's the problem: As soon as I start typing, Word blacks
out my text and the whole line too. And when I press
enter, the black row continues to the next line. The only
way I can view my text is in the preview option. Any
suggestions?

Change your graphics setting so that you are using at least 16-bit colours.
