In Excel> Preferences> Calculation clear the check for 1904 Date System in the new workbook before pasting the data in. HOWEVER... If you intend to paste into an existing workbook which is based on the 1904 Date System & there are already dates in the file *Do Not* change the date system for that file. If you do the new date values will paste in accurately but all the pre-existing dates will be wrong.
