Problem when Outlook 2007 closes

I have been trying to figure out a problem that appears when Outlook 2007
closes. The system tray icon (greyed out Outlook icon with an "X") takes an
inordinate amount of time to disappear, and periodically I am asked once or
twice to save changes to messages that are already saved in various folders.
The text of the message is:

The properties of message ( ) have been changed. Do you want to save
changes to this message? with buttons for Yes, No, or Cancel.

I also noticed in Event Viewer that my Microsoft Outlook sessions ceased to
be recorded on 4/27/2010, maybe after a Microsoft Update. This was probably
about the time the other activity started. The event properties for last
recorded session are:

ID: 6, Application Name: Microsoft Office Outlook, Application Version:
12.0.6514.5000, Microsoft Office Version: 12.0.6425.1000. This session lasted
1 seconds with 0 seconds of active time. This session ended with a crash.

I've tried repair from Add/Remove and also from the install disk. I haven't
uninstall/reinstalled yet. Clues?

Preliminary results are that AdAware Email Scanner was causing the problem.
I disabled it and the application closes normally now. I am also not being
prompted to save existing messages anymore. I'm still not seeing sessions
being logged in Event Viewer, Microsoft Office Sessions. There are no other
non-Microsoft add-ins evident.

The word from Lavasoft, maker of AdAware Plus which I am using, is they are
aware of the problem and are working toward a fix. My Outlook continues to
function normally, although I'm still not seeing Outlook sessions logged in
Event Viewer. Tells me there is still something wrong somewhere. After
disabling AdAware yesterday, I ran a Repair from the Add/Remove menu for
Microsoft Office followed by a Microsoft Office Diagnostics from Microsoft
Office Tools menu. Both finished without any problems detected, although
after the diagnostic finished there was an event logged in the Event Viewer
Application list:

I clicked the link for more information and there wasn't any.
