Problem when trying to import Worksheet to Document

Hey guys,

I tried to insert an Excel Worksheet (Insert -> Object -> Excel
Worksheet) to a Word document.

It resulted in:

First and foremost, the formatting issue is way weird. The Excel
spreadsheet is set to fit to 1 page by 1 page.

Secondly, none of the dotted lines imported.

Thanks in advance!

Actually, Lee, I'm astounded that it came out as well as it did:)

Sheets directly embedded in Mac Word (using that technique) are limited to 5
columns by 10 rows. When you throw in the off-angle orientation of cells
along with the borders & shading it pollutes the mix that much more.

The worst news is that there isn't any alternative within Word. To salvage
the work you've done, double-click the object, select & copy the sheet
content, then quit that instance of Excel - saying Yes to retaining what's
on the clipboard. Launch Excel directly, paste your content into a new
sheet. (You'll probably have to redo some of the formatting, column widths,
etc.) Save your work as whatever you want to call the file then copy it, go
back to Word, delete the original sheet object & use Edit> Paste Special -
MS Excel Worksheet Object (or Picture if you prefer).
