Problem when upgraded Excel from 2000 to 2003

Hi there, folks. I have 3 excel worksheets. Let's call them 1.xls, 2.xls and
3.xls. 1 is full of data, 2 uses 1 to fill out its data, and 3 uses 2 to fill
out its data. Let's focus on 1 and 2's "relationship". When I was using Excel
2000 I used to update my data on 2 using F9 and there was no problem. Every
cell was updated ok (most of them had a reference to some data in 1 and made
calculations by means of this data). I had to update to Excel 2003, and this
same process fails in some cells. The error #NAME? appears on a lot of cells.
I have tried to replace every '=' with '=', so that every function gets
recalculated, but that didn't do the trick.

Does anyone know why this happens and what could be the solution? (I
obviously updated my Office suite).

Thanks for any help!

#NAME? indicates that there is a name in the expression that Excel doesn't
recognize. Since named ranges are carried in the workbook, this would likely
be a function name. Either you did not enable macros when opening the
workbook or else you have not enabled a required Add-In in your instance of
Excel 2003.

If you still have an Excel 2000 installation that correctly evaluates this
workbook, look in Tools|Add-Ins to see which ones are checked and make sure
that those same Add-Ins are checked in your 2003 installation.

Otherwise, as a stab in the dark, try Tools|Add-Ins and put a check by
Analysis ToolPak. If that doesn't work, then you need to post formulas that
return #NAME? in hopes that someone might recognize from the function names
what Add-In is needed.

The focus of this newsgroup is things that cause Excel to crash. Since that
rarely happens (and doesn't happen in this case), you would likely get faster
response in a more main-stream newsgroup where this would be more on topic.
