Problem while opening microsoft word document

while opening microsoft office word document or powerpoint windows taking
more than 4-5 minutes to open. I have removed and reinstall oxxice XP twice
but problem remains same. Please advice what to do?

Reinstalling hardly ever achieves anything except steal time.

Sounds like a printer driver problem. Make sure that you have the latest
driver for your printer and then delete and reinstall the printer.
